Here are my thoughts as I write the 70th post for the Virtual CFO:
- I am grateful and appreciative to all the subscribers and readers of this blog. The subscription and reader statistics for The Virtual CFO blog help keep me motivated to keep writing for the blog. The statistics let me know that what I am writing about is relevant and useful to entrepreneurs and small businesses owners.
- Blogging is hard work. It takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes to prepare each blog post. However, I believe that the effort is worthwhile if a small business owner/entrepreneur receives help and guidance from one of my posts.
- My wife is a great editor and a really cool person to work with. My wife, Linda, reads and proofs every post I make. Her job is to look for spelling and grammatical errors, as well as making sure that my posts are understandable for those who are not accountants/CPAs. Thanks, babe.
- Blogs are better than newsletters. I opened my company in May. One of the items on my "To Do" list was to start an electronic or written newsletter. My belief now is that The Virtual CFO blog is a better means of distributing information than a newsletter would ever be.
Wow! Hard to believe. You're doing a great job. Keep it up.
